Situation alert COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
We are carefully monitoring the developing Covid-19 outbreak, especially in Latin America, and are analyzing the second peak of the pandemic in Colombia, ocurred in december and january 2021. Because of this, we have moved the conference dates to may, 2021 and decided to go full virtual. The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our highest priority.

R9 GRADUATE Initiative

The IEEE MTT-S Education Committee recently approved, during the MTT-S AdCom meetings, the implementation of a Region 9 Graduate Student Initiative to encourage the participation of graduate students from Latin America in LAMC-2021. The Region 9 Graduate Student Initiative is restricted to provide financial support to attend LAMC only to Graduate students officially registered in a master or doctoral program offered by a university or research institute located in Latin America. Applicants for this R9 Graduate Initiative must submitt your documents only until March 25, 2021.

Conference Information

Cali, Colombia will be the host for the 3rd IEEE MTT-S Latin America Microwave Conference (LAMC-2021). This time, the conference will be co-located with Colombian Communications and Computing Conference (IEEE Colcom, https://ieee-colcom.org/) and Colombia Conference on Computational Inteligence (IEEE Colcaci, https://ieee-colcaci.org/2020/). During the past decade, Cali has gained national and international recognition for its potential to become one of the most important cities in Latin America and the Pacific in terms of logistics, manufacturing and creative industry. Cali, main city of the Pacific region of Colombia, known as a commercial, service and cultural hub, offers a vivid and dynamic environment for creation of innovative solutions, a wide variety of economic sectors, including both small and large companies as well as agricultural industry, a growing ICT ecosystem and high-quality universities.

LAMC will have a general scope on RF and microwave engineering and technologies, as described in our Call for Papers. We look forward to seeing you in Cali for an exciting technical and social program at LAMC-2021.
